Divorce

The process of divorce wasn’t easy for me. I had to completely rediscover who I was, reconnect to who I had been before I’d met him, remember how to answer simple questions like; “what do you want to do?”
I wrote lots of tidbits here and there, poetry? Maybe...here’s one of those.

Yeah so I’ve told the truth
And now he knows
My world does not revolve around his breath
Anymore
He is digesting this news
He is trying to figure out how to deal with it
He is trying to work it to his advantage
Funny
Now that its all out
It’s not him
It’s me
who is ready to walk away from everything
Leave it all behind
Just to breathe free

Love
